Elder Ranford A. Lilly, II “A Faith Walk”
Humble in character, positioned for hearing through prayer, & established in the study of God’s Word best describes this servant Elder Ranford Lilly, II. He is the second of four boys, born September 30, 1962, to very proud and supportive parents, Deacon Ranford and State Supervisor Mary J. Lilly. He is a graduate of Windsor High School. He continued his education at Johnson & Wales University and graduated in 1984. He further completed his studies at The Williams-Clemon-Davis Bible Institute, receiving his B.S. Degree in Theology.
He grew up and was nurtured in the Word at Gospel Temple under the late Bishop Allen M. Jackson (his grandfather) & later served in many capacities (after the church was re-named Jackson Memorial COGIC Int’l) under Bishop R.G.Gatling, Sr.
After giving his life to the Lord in 1986, Elder Lilly fully committed himself to carrying out the “Great Commission” as authorized to us in Matthew 28:20. After accepting the calling on his life, the burden for souls became an even greater force within him.
His compelling desire to reach the lost has led him to visiting prisons & convalescent homes offering a message of hope for all.
Elder Lilly answered the call to pastor in the 2002, but it wasn’t until the following year that he heard the Lord say, “….now it is time”. The Lord gave him the name Faith Ministries.
Our Lord further explained that the word Faith was an acronym for “Free Access In To Heaven”, meaning the veil has been rent giving us access to the kingdom of God. His Will is that the Whole man be saved. Elder Lilly’s desire is to show the Nicodemus’ of today how to be born again and enter the kingdom of Heaven.
Elder Lilly is happily married to the former Sherrie D. Hilton. Their matrimonial union has produced one daughter, Alyssa Norrai`, and one son, Brandon James.

Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in Three Persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return.
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ and being baptized in water. We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.
We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it.
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in this present world.
Statement of Mission
To help Men, Women and families become whole spiritually according to John 5:6 through Religious Educational training and outreach programs.
The Purpose
To become an important force in the Windsor community providing hope to its members and the community in the difficult times we live in. Provide shelter emotionally, spiritually and naturally to all people.
